In 2010, Mark established <a title=\"Green Building Legal Consultation\" href=\"http:\/\/h7l.9a8.myftpupload.com\/?page_id=8\">Green Building Legal Consultation<\/a>, a consultancy offering legal advice on federal, state and municipal laws governing residential and commercial green building practices and sustainable design.\u00a0He is a LEED Green Associate and Certified Green Building Professional.<\/p>\n<p>Mark has expertise in construction law, real estate contracts and disputes, general business law, and insurance defense of commercial and personal lines claims.\u00a0He is a former Deputy County Counsel for the Office of the County Counsel Alameda County, was a partner in\u00a0the law firm of <em>McNamara, Ney, Beatty, Slattery, Borges &amp; Ambacher LLP<\/em>, and a managing partner and senior trial attorney for the law offices of <em>Haskell and Goodman<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation and Natural Resources with an emphasis in environmental law from the University of California Berkeley. He earned his Juris Doctor from John F.
